Fake MMS email – Virus
Over the last few days a number of clients have contacted me regarding a suspicious email claiming to be an Orange MMS (Multimedia) message. The email has a Zip file attachment, within the Zip is a Trojan Virus in the form of an .exe file.
Usually the email subject is something similar to this: Subject: image Id 612511774-Pic43HT5 TYPE–MMS
If you have received an email like this, don’t open it, delete it. If you are unsure if an email like this has infected your computer, then give me a call.
The email could also claim to be from Vodaphone, 02 or T-Mobile.
